Role Summary

The CIO Office Project Controller will be responsible to facilitate the implementation of Transformation program’s initiatives in NA and SAPMENA.

Position requires close working relationships with Zone domain IT teams, market IT teams and the NA & SAPMENA CIO Office team.


Main Responsibilities

  • Animate IT governance, facilitating the demand to project process.
  • Understand overall objective of the IT Business Management (ITBM) metrics and act as a champion to obtain buy-in, and guide IT colleagues.
  • Support the monitoring, reporting and deep-dive of key ITBM metrics.
  • Co-lead efforts to increase adoption rates for key ITBM modules/processes such as demand management, agile management, resource management, portfolio management and project management.
  • Support Product Management initiative, especially Product conversion, and tooling (Agile SNOW module).
  • Proactively liaise with various stakeholders for preparation of materials for key strategic meetings and reporting.
  • Actively listen to stakeholders, articulate exemptions/complicated issues into IT implications, with suggestions for resolution.
  • Drive and follow up transformation initiatives including IT Business Management (ITBM) processes.
  • Advocate the highest standards of IT governance and portfolio management to ensure value creation for the Business.
  • Provide effective communication across the Zone.
  • Accelerate and animate CIO Office key strategic meetings and activities.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Business Studies, Finance and relevant fields.
  • At least 3 – 5 years of work experience, preferably with consulting background.
  • Agile certifications and experience (desirable).
  • Involved in transformation program delivery (desirable).
  • Knowledge of project/product management & methodologies.
  • Knowledge of agile management methodologies (Plus).
  • Results-driven and have participated in a significant (large-scale) program within an organization and has delivered real change in relation to the employee community.
  • Ability to analyze/ understand processes from both the process owner and end-user perspective.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with different cultures across the region.
  • Ability to convince stakeholders and obtain support to buy-in various initiatives/processes.
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team player.
  • Communication skills, willingness to learn, resilience.
  • Fluent in English in order to effectively communicate with English-speaking stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Office applications -- Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint).
  • Reporting tools (Power BI).
  • Project and agile methodology.
  • Familiarity with IT Business Management/Project and Portfolio Management tools (e.g. ServiceNow).
