Job Purpose
The Manager of Student Recruitment for STEM and Space Competitions and Training is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract and enrol students from Singapore and internationally. The primary focus will be on promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and space-related programs, competitions, and training sessions. The manager will work closely with educational institutions, partners, and stakeholders to enhance the visibility and appeal of these programs.
Responsibilities & Tasks
1. Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy targeting students in Singapore and internationally.
- Identify key markets and demographics for potential recruitment.
- Set recruitment goals and objectives in alignment with the organization’s mission and vision.
2. Marketing and Outreach
- Design and execute marketing campaigns to promote STEM and space competitions and training programs.
- Create promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, social media content, and website updates.
- Organize and participate in education fairs, webinars, workshops, and other outreach events.
3. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, universities, educational agencies, and other partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Provide excellent customer service to prospective students and their families.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor and analyze recruitment data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities, trends, and outcomes.
- Utilize data to make informed decisions and adjustments to recruitment strategies.
5. Program Coordination
- Coordinate with program teams to ensure alignment between recruitment efforts and program offerings.
- Assist in the organization and management of STEM and space competitions and training sessions.
- Provide support and guidance to students throughout the recruitment and enrollment process.
6. Compliance and Best Practices
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with local and international regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities.
- Implement innovative approaches to improve recruitment processes and outcomes.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in student recruitment, marketing, or a related role, preferably within the education sector.
- Strong understanding of STEM education and space-related programs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Passion for education and a commitment to promoting STEM and space exploration.
