Human Resources Director

Position Summary

The HR Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The HR Director is the go-to person for all employee-related issues such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and talent management.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives: Formulate HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and create initiatives to foster a productive and engaging workplace.

· Ensure that all HR policies and procedures support the company's objectives.

· Work closely with senior management to understand the business needs and tailor HR initiatives accordingly.

Talent Acquisition and Management

· Develop strategies to attract top talent, including managing relationships with recruitment agencies and online job platforms.

· Oversee talent acquisition process including designing effective job descriptions, hiring and selection processes, and selection criteria to ensure the best candidates are hired.

· Ensure a robust employee onboarding program.

Employee Development

· Identify training needs through job analysis, career paths, and consultation with managers.

· Plan and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

· Develop programs to support employee career growth, including mentorship programs and succession planning.

Compliance and Risk Management

· updated on labor laws and regulations and ensure the company's HR policies and practices comply with them.

· Create policies to minimize legal risks related to employee relations and ensure a safe working environment.

· Act as the primary contact for any legal issues related to employment, including disputes and litigation.

Compensation and Benefits

· Develop competitive salary structures and benefits packages to attract and retain employees.

· Stay updated on market trends to ensure the company remains competitive in its compensation offerings.

· Ensure total payroll costs are aligned with company’s strategies and directions.

Employee Engagement

· Cultivate a positive work environment: Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.

· Drive effective employee engagement through overseeing events, activities, and programs that promote a positive work culture and enhance employee satisfaction.

· Regularly assess employee satisfaction through employee surveys and address any issues that may arise.

HR Metrics and Reporting

· Create metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of HR initiatives, such as turnover rates, time-to-hire, and employee satisfaction scores.

· Prepare and present reports to senior management on HR activities, trends, and areas for improvement.

· Use data and analytics to make informed decisions about HR strategies and initiatives.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Proven 7 – 10 years of HR experience in a leadership capacity.

· Ability to communicate effectively, build strong relationships with employees and achieve business objectives.

· Strong leadership skills to manage teams and influence company leadership.

· In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices, including work improvement processes.

· Capability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
