Position Type: 6 Months Agency Contract, deputed to Client | Work Location: One-North | Healthcare Industry
The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for preparation/execution for the migration of current MOH analytics platform onto GCC (government commercial cloud) platform.
Responsibilities
- Analyze factors involved in business problems and provide solutions on the current (Hadoop) and future Cloud platform (AWS).
- Understand business needs and develop IT system migration work-plan.
- Contribute to the planning of application/infrastructure releases and configuration changes.
- Conduct task management for the team and leadership for junior members of the team.
- Design appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators.
- Liaise closely with various functions to ensure smooth implementation.
Requirements
- Degree/master’s in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
- At least ten (10) years of overall IT experience in maintaining the large-scale applications in various environments including migration projects.
- Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing or Hadoop / Big Data application projects.
- Hands-on working experience in Informatica product suite and Databricks tools preferred.
- Experience in IT project management and process flows.
- Understanding of HW and SW application structure and configuration methodologies.
- Experience in bridging business and engineering teams and linking business needs to suitable IT solutions.
- Able to lead and possess strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate teams in challenging situations.
- Knowledge in understanding the structure of a business and how it uses technology and what its goals are would be preferred.
- Prior knowledge in healthcare is preferred.
