Purpose: To manage an Accounts Payable team of six, work on process improvements in the Finance and Accounting department and improve internal control processes. Analyze project profitability and identify variances to work on sales margin improvements. Audit of travel claims, handle month-end reporting, external audit, IRAS’ GST and income tax computation and ad-hoc financial analysis and respond to the Department Of Statistics.
Key Area of Responsibilities:
- Check on sales margins’ variances and drive improvements.
- Spearhead process improvements and continuously review and improve internal control processes.
- Prepare month-end reports.
- Audit overseas travel claims
- Manage external audits and review audit reports.
- Review corporate tax computation and respond to IRAS’ queries.
- Prepare quarterly GST reports for submission to IRAS.
- Support and participate in the company's continuous improvement program.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analysis e.g. for submission of government sector survey form.
Qualification & Experiences:
- Degree In Accountancy or Diploma in Accountancy with professional certification like ACCA certification
- Min 8 years of experience as a finance professional.
- Must have experience in the manufacturing industry and product costing knowledge.
- Detailed, meticulous, and able to work with a tight timeline.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
