Role and responsibilities
Quality Planning
Develop, implement, and maintain QA and QC processes, including but not limited to creating and updating procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring all products adhere to specified standards.
Inspection, Testing and Precision Measurement
Oversee inspection and testing processes to identify defects and deviation from specifications.
Documentation and Reporting
Update and maintain effective Quality Management System,
Update and maintain records of quality inspections, tools and equipment maintenance records, calibration records, and continuous improvement efforts in accordance with statutory, regulatory, and industrial standards.
Non-Conformance and Continuous Improvement
Carry out investigation and address root cause on quality issues and work with relevant stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
Analyse OTD and OQD data and trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Supplier Quality Management
Conduct Supplier qualification audits and maintain the approved supplier list (ASL) to ensure that the suppliers adhere to the company’s standards.
Training and Education
Conduct training for Quality Staff, as well as Engineering staff on precision measurement techniques, quality standards, and proper use of inspection equipment, to maintain a skilled workforce capable of ensuring precision in manufacturing processes.
Foster quality culture throughout organization
Quality Audit
Conduct audit on functions based on AS9100 standards and any other standards that are required by the company.
Collaboration
Backup for all Quality Operations, including and not limited to customer and supplier claims and quality control inspections.
Other responsibilities:
· Assist the Quality Manager for any reasonable adhoc requests/ projects.
