Purpose of Position:
To build and develop next generation of Finance leaders for Hilti group.
Role Requirements:
- Oversee all core finance functions (such as, but not limited to; Controlling, Purchase to Pay, Credit & Collection, General Ledger, Treasury) and be responsible for month and year-end closing, as well as all statutory filling with the local team.
- Strong market and business understanding with ability to link it to financial impacts; understand how the various functions and value streams work together to produce value for customers and Hilti
- Strongly contribute to set the direction of the organization as a member of the leadership team by defining the right strategies and guiding the financial decision making; actively support revenue and value generation beyond cost management
- Consistently challenge the status quo, act as change agent in the leadership team and for the entire organization and proactively bring outside in perspective
- Own the performance management and investment process of the market organisation to deliver financial results to drive current and strategic business priorities
- Develop and lead a high performing team
- Ensure company compliance with all the relevant local laws
- Implement and drive global/regional finance initiatives to drive operation excellence and create sustainable value proposition
- Keep up to date with external finance trends, network & share best practices
Person Specification:
- 12+ years of relevant experience in Finance (FP&A, Controlling, etc)
- Willingness to drive Finance strategy linked to business agenda
- Demonstratable stakeholder management experience/skills
- High cultural awareness with an adaptive leadership style
- To be result-oriented, top performer who consistently meets and exceeds goals
- A willingness towards continuous learning, high motivation to constantly develop him or herself.
- The ability to communicate and present effectively to finance & cross-functional team members
- To have strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
