We are looking to hire a Merchandiser (6-month contract) as a Maternity Cover. For the right candidate the position can be converted to full time after this contract.
As a Merchandiser, we will rely on you to:
- Analyse customer’s insights, market trends, sales report, product category turnover rate, etc against merchandising strategies.
- Liaise with factory on product specifications, construction, and production progress.
- Attend new product fitting sessions and make assessment based on consumer needs and attractiveness.
- Liaise with factory on product specifications, construction, and production progress.
- Oversee quality of samples from factory, verify technical specifications are met prior to production.
- Analyse cost of merchandise and the financial implication of investment on merchandise to meet the profit targets.
- Coordinate the process to realise new products from sample to production.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is proficient in Microsoft Excel
- is analytical
- has a can-do attitude
- has strong organising, and coordinating skills
- likes to spread good vibes and service excellence
- has a love for fashion and design
- preferably has garment technical knowledge
- Competency in written and spoken chinese for communication with factory
