We are looking for an Embedded System Engineer to join our research and product development team of scientists, engineers, and clinicians to deliver diagnostic and monitoring solutions that elevate the well-being of patients suffering from respiratory illnesses. In this role, you will be the engineer taking charge of embedded systems design, testing and maintenance of medical devices.
Responsibilities
- Develop new and optimize existing embedded platforms and smart medical device solutions
- Proficient in electronic systems design
- Design, prototype, and verify cost appropriate analogue and digital circuit designs for medical applications
- Realize of complex, power efficient, safe, and robust PCB designs for medical applications
- Develop hardware specifications
- Ensure design compliance to medical standards and certifications
- Collaborate with engineering team for product level integration
- Collaborate with electronics manufacturer to manage electronics production
- Develop tools and techniques for testing and verification
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in engineering in EE or EEE or other relevant fields
- At least 3+ years of industry experience in embedded system engineering
- Experience in embedded hardware/PCB design software and simulation
- Proficient in firmware development
- Experience in RF communications implementation
- Some experience in Cloud systems preferred
