As an Associate Manufacuring Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing first-line process support to the Production Line Operations. In the role, you'll be expected to execute pre-defined actions in response to Out of Control/Out of Specifications or excursion events as stipulated in the defined Standard Operating Procedures or as instructed by Manufacturing Engineers. You'd also be working on process improvement work from time to time independently or in support of the Manufacturing Engineers to troubleshoot manufacturing problems related to non-conformances, or manufacturing inefficiencies while supporting manufacturing engineering improvement projects.

You will be reporting to our Manufacturing Engineering Manager and based in our Tuas Singapore Manufacturing Site.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Execute Out of Control Action Plans (OCAPs) and process-based corrective/preventive actions in response to Out of Control/Out of Specifications or Process abnormality events
  • Take ownership of simple processes or measurement tools where necessary and lead/participate in process improvement projects
  • Assist engineers in SPC setup and monitor the qualified processes using SPC and other statistical tools

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Diploma in Science, Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), SPC and SAP.
