The position is part of the Pall Singapore Operations team and will be located in Benoi, Singapore.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Carry out production activities and ensure that all required specifications are met and adhere to EHS and Quality guidelines, regulation, policies, procedures and 5S; Operate machines/equipment and ensure all materials are readily available
- Assist in development, implementation, and revision of SOP, work instruction and relevant documentation in partnership with cross functional teams; Support improvement efforts and appropriate duties as assigned
- Work in a team environment with shift members, supervisor, and cross functional teams on day-to-day operations which includes preliminary/minor machines or equipment troubleshooting, manufacturing associate OJT and other assigned projects
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Minimum high school graduate with 1 to 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience
- Train and guide operators to meet daily production output, escalate line issues and quality.
- Comfortable to work in rotating shift in clean room environment and occasional lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 20kg
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Familiarity with Microsoft software and SAP/other ERP experience (specifically in a manufacturing environment)
- Basic knowledge of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) operations and chemical process
