Doehle Shipmanagement Pte Ltd Singapore is looking to recruit an Accounts Executive The successful applicant will be responsible for looking after several shipping clients including thepreparation, analysis and presentation of the accounts Join our new Team and be part of setting up a new outfit here in Singapore.
Tasks and Responsibilites
- Execute day to day accounting tasks, with a high focus on accounts payable and bank reconciliation.
- Assist with common reporting requests.
- Assist in preparation of year end financial statements for audit.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis reporting any possible tax filing and its preparation.
- Proactive collection of information, challenging sources and ensuring consistency in reporting to management and clients.
- Use own judgement to highlight and report significant matters that require the attention of management.
- Liaise with clients, representative, auditors and professions advisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A motivated, driven and eager character interested to establish an accounting structure in a new business setup.
- Detail orientated but with ability to work under pressure and to handle tight deadlines.
- Preferably a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, possibly even in the maritime industry.
- Degree in Accountancy/ACCA/Chartered Accountant/CPA from well accepted universities.
- Excellent working knowledge of SFRS IFRS.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and ideally experience with SUN accounts.
- Fluent written and spoken business English.
