- Implement a comprehensive Site Safety Management System to manage risks and reduce accidents
- Implementation of workplace safety, health and environment programs and initiatives
- Enforcement of safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act
- Conducting training programs on workplace safety and health and inspections to ensure that all staff and/or subcontractors onsite and at HQ abide by policies and standards
- Ensure strict compliance of procedures in statutory workplace, safety, health & environment requirements at sites and required premises
- Implementation of effective safety management system, preventive measureswell as risk assessment to minimize accidents at the assigned workplace/site
- Preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits
- Assist the company in safety related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and executive of safety programs
- Work with the assistance of your safety team of WSH coordinators and supervisors at the project site
- Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes in safety guidelines
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time
Requirements:
• Registered WSH Officer/Safety Officer with MOM for minimum of 4 years
• Minimum 3 years as a WSH Personnel in construction, with at least one year
of experience as a WSHO
• Possess a minimum Diploma in Environment, Health and Safety Management
or related field
• Excellent people management skills and good interpersonal skills
