Position: Robotics Engineer
Location: East Singapore ( Changi)
Duration: 12 Months (renewable/convertible to permanent)
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Robotics Engineer to join our client's team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robotic solutions for automated processes in our manufacturing, logistics operations.
To be successful in this role, you should have strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering concepts, as well as familiarity with industrial robotics programming.
The ideal candidate will have experience with RFID technology, low-code development, Linux operating systems, and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robotic solutions for automated processes in our manufacturing operations, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineering concepts.
- Program industrial robots to perform automated tasks.
- Troubleshoot and debug robotic solutions.
- Develop new robotic solutions to improve existing processes.
- Monitor robotic performance and optimize processes accordingly.
- Keep abreast of relevant industrial robotic technologies and trends.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize robotic solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members.
- Prepare and maintain documentation of robotic solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical engineering ,Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in robotics engineering
- Experience on RFID, low-code, Linux, and RPA
- Programming skills , debugging connectivity issues
- Experience with RFID technology, including tags, readers, antennas, network, server
- Familiarity with low-code development platforms such as Mendix, Power Apps,Tableau etc
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces
