Job Responsibilities
- Lead M&E related work scheduling, from shop drawings preparations, materials approval, trials / mock-ups, to actual implementation on site and thereafter handing over.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with M&E services and other trades on-site.
- Assist in the implementation, monitoring, and review of a construction management plan.
- Supervise and inspect all M&E work performed by sub-contractors.
- Ensure adherence to M&E specifications and maintain high-quality standards.
- Ensure that stakeholders are actively engaged and that beneficial relationships between the project and the client, subcontractors, community, and other external parties are developed and maintained.
- Support the Project Manager in all coordination work of civil & structural, and M&E.
- Liaise with sub-contractors to ensure smooth progress of work, high quality standards and minimal defects
- Prepare submission of shop drawing/materials/MSRA till approval
- Ensure work is construct in accordance with contract & drawings
- Carry out inspection/trade demo/material testing/mock up
- Verify VO and prepare back charge
- Check & ensure compliance with TOP check list and RI (M&E)
- Ensure work activities are carried out in safe working environment
- Responsible for preparation of Combined Services Drawing
Job Requirement
- Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in M&E
- Relevant qualifications of certificates in structural and M&E discipline (eg. NCCS, BCSS, Safety or Lifting)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in managing M&E works of similar scale and complexity
- Good knowledge of M&E specs and Authority quality requirement (BCA, SCDF, etc)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD / Microstation
