Our client, a well-known MNC company is looking for candidates for the Compliance Specialist position.
Responsibilities: -
- Assist in the preparation of company policies and training materials
- Update management on various compliance matters from time to time, under the guidance of the Director of the Legal Department
- Engage in enterprise risk management activities, in addition to legal and compliance related risk management
- Carrying out corporate secretarial work, by liaising with external counsel on such matters
- Assisting in mobility matters, by liaising with external counsel on such matters
- Staying up to date with relevant regulatory changes relating to compliance
- Assist with any other tasks that the Legal Department may need to undertake
Requirements:
- Degree in Law (NUS or SMU) or its equivalent is preferred
- Admission to Singapore Bar is not mandatory
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience working for law firm or corporation
- Experience in general corporate and regulatory compliance law would be ideal
- Good understanding of compliance law to maintain operations within legal boundaries and meet relevant regulatory requirements
