The role requires the incumbent to plan construction projects and oversee progress in a timely and cost-effective manner. The primary responsibility is to manage overall budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the project.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee the entire construction project from inception to completion.
- Review and ensure compliance with the project execution plan, specifications, design, and program.
- Coordinate with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and supervision teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor site construction activities to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Verify and review technical submissions and method statements for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure the timely completion of the project, adhering to all deadlines and budget constraints.
- Lead large teams, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
- Provide expertise in managing large-scale civil projects, with a preference for rail depot experience.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years of engineering experience, with a proven track record in major infrastructure projects.
- Other Requirements:Strong leadership skills with experience in managing large teams.
Extensive knowledge of building and safety regulations.
Ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in reviewing technical submissions and method statements.
Demonstrated ability to complete projects on time and within budget.
