About our client: Our client is a leading Construction and Civil Engineering company supporting the Oil & Gas and Chemical Processing Industries.
About the role:
- Deployment will be at Bukom and/ or any other project sites where required.
- Coordinating and planning for timely delivery of materials and equipment required for the project sites; including but not limited to liaising with project personnel, vendors, sub-contractors, transporter, etc
- Coordinating with government agencies (where applicable), Client and EPCM for entry to project sites for delivery, including but not limited to sponsoring, barge booking
- Liaising and coordinating with Company’s Purchaser for timely issuance or Purchase Orders prior to collection of material
- Assist in raising of MRF for purchasing of material, tools and equipment required for the project sites
- Checking of materials/ tools/ equipment delivered to ensure correct and on good condition. If found to be unacceptable, to liaise with required vendors/ suppliers for return and exchange
- Counter check and collate all site delivery orders and liaise with HQ Finance Department for the return of these correct payment to vendors/ suppliers
- Coordinate with transporter for timely delivery and collection of materials
- Liaise with Site Storemen for proper stock take and upkeep of equipment, materials, tools, etc.
- Liaise with relevant parties, including but not limited to Clients, inspection bodies, LEW, working crew and supervisors for the maintenance regime, upkeep, inspection and recertification of required equipment, machineries, vehicles,
- eg. Tipper lorries, air receivers, excavators, cranes, bicycles, construction tools and equipment etc.
- Formulate and track maintenance regime and inspection protocols, including insurance of the equipment and machinery
- Update equipment inventory from time to time and raise Equipment request form or equipment disposal forms, etc. or as necessary
- Compile and allocate monthly diesel and other consumables for records and submission
- Coordinate with HQ Purchaser and vendors for any spare parts required for machinery and equipment
- Ad-hoc deployment and any ad-hoc duties (as when required)
About you:
- At least a GCE 'O' level
- Good interpersonal and communication skill
- With related experience in Logistics Industry preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skill
- Attention to details
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
