AI Lead Scientist (Machine Learning Models & Algorithms)
- Basic Salary: $8.5k – $16k (Based on experience)
- Working hours: 9am – 6am
- Working days: Mon – Fri
- Working location: Raffles Place
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for AI initiatives in alignment with the company’s overall goals.
- Identify opportunities for AI to enhance business processes, products, and services.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of AI projects, from initial concept through development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing AI team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to the team, ensuring the use of best practices and state-of-the-art techniques.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to integrate AI solutions into products and services
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and academic institutions to advance AI capabilities.
- Drive the research and development (R&D) of new AI models and algorithms.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of AI solutions.
- Oversee the collection, preprocessing, and analysis of large datasets.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Implement robust metrics and monitoring systems to assess the performance and impact of AI solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize AI models and processes.
Job Requirements
- Min. PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Current or recent experience as an assistant professor in a university setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, & Java.
- Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
- Experience in leading a diverse team of professionals (AI Project lead).
- With Published research in reputable AI journals or conferences.
- Active participation in AI and data science communities
