Job Description:
- Perform library duties including loans, processing new books, conducting stocktakes, and general maintenance.
- Manage the cleanliness of the Student Activity Zone, Consultation Room, and Shoe Deposit Area.
- Enforce policies in the Student Activity Zone and library to prevent property damage and ensure student safety.
- Support Parent-Teacher Meetings by ensuring proper communication between parents and teachers and coordinating appointments.
- Provide information to walk-in customers about our products and services, and relay their inquiries to the enrolment manager.
- Build good rapport with customers by issuing incentives or souvenirs as needed, such as for Children’s Day, freebies, lucky dip, or spin wheel campaigns. Issue VIP souvenirs for VIP customers.
- Assist in conducting fringe activities in collaboration with teachers in charge of the Student Activity Zone.
- Attend to customer requests for replacement lessons, refer special cases to operations managers, and maintain proper communication and records with customers.
- Send reminders to teachers for make-up arrangements for affected students.
- Liaise with various departments to replenish sales brochures for customers and newsletters for students.
- Generate necessary reports for replacement classes on a weekly, monthly, or termly basis as required by managers.
- Manage part-timers assisting with the library and fringe activities as needed.
