The Job
The Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance to end users. They are expected to conduct technical repairs, testing of cranes and preparation of new and/or used cranes before delivery to customers.
What You Can Expect of the Job
· You’ll diagnose, adjust, repair and overhaul construction machinery such as duty cycle crawler cranes, crawler cranes and foundation equipment.
· You’ll apply electrical, electronical, hydraulic, and mechanical theory and related knowledge to test and modify operational electrical machinery, electronically control equipment and circuitry, hydraulically circuits and components, and mechanical equipment.
· You’ll test mechanical products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer’s specifications.
· You’ll repair and replace damaged or worn parts with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) spares and OEM repaired parts.
· You’ll clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on Liebherr machines.
· You’ll read, understand, and interpret operating manuals, parts manual, and technical drawings.
· You’ll promote a safe work environment by following on-site safety rules and established safety procedures.
· You’ll oversee the handling and disposing of hazardous wastes, such as oil, antifreeze, transmission fluid, auto parts cleaner, and similar material.
· You’ll maintain company service literature and a high awareness of technical changes.
· Any other duties as assigned.
What We Expect of You
· Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in servicing and maintaining heavy machineries, with specific expertise in foundation equipment preferred.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
· PC literate in MS applications and proficient in spoken and written English
· Willing to perform hands-on job and travel within South-East-Asia in short notice.
