1 Responsibilities

· Develop, train and maintain a strong SHE-team to drive high performing SHE programs

and campaigns to manage risks and promote SHE cultural change to reduce the

probability of incident occurrence;

• Ensure that we fulfill legal, company and customers’ requirements and establish a set of

KPIs to monitor progression;

• Drive and implement risk assessments & incident prevention strategies via prompt

reporting, prevention and mitigating impacts of unsafe actions & conditions;

• Maintain the safety management systems and ensure its relevancy via periodic review

and implementation of programs such as internal audit, management of change,

permit-to-work, SHE training and contractor management;

• Maintain validity and compliance of relevant licenses and permits from SCDF, NEA, SPF

and MOM;

• Review and approve SDS in relation to compliance of relevant licenses and permits from

SCDF, NEA, SPF and MOM while facilitating growing business needs;

• Manage and organize effective emergency resource planning and responses;

• Act as site’s advocate for continuous improvement of SHE performance across the

business;

• Establish a continuous improvement process to make innovative and cost effective

proposals on how we can better serve our customers;

2 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master‘s degree from an accredited institution in Environmental, Health &

Safety, Science or Engineering;

• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM, Registered Fire Safety Manager with SCDF and Hazardous Substances license holder with NEA;

· Min. 10 years of SHE experience in chemical, manufacturing or logistics industry;

· Positive attitude and self-initiated with strong sense of job ownership;

· Innovative problem-solver and good conceptual thinker;

· Experienced and able to lead internal SHE audits. Understands the requirements and able to maintain and drive implementation of SS 651, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Standards;

· Willing to perform hands-on job in a logistics operations environment;

· Experienced in managing Safety Case for Major Hazard Installation (MHI) is an added advantage.
