Job Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and provide field service support mainly on all Redhat Linux and other open-source Linux platforms.
- Implement and automate Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms to provide scalable and reliable container orchestration solutions.
- Implement and develop automation platform playbook such as Redhat Ansible.
- Responsible for problem identification, troubleshooting, and driving technical resolution.
- Lead customer issue resolution and take ownership of all assigned tickets.
- Lead project completion within the allocated schedule.
- Handle customer calls and incident tickets related to Unix servers/services faults and record the fault through ITSM tool.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Linux environment and support.
- Experience with Redhat Openshift platform technology and automation tools.
- Strong background in Unix technologies including High Availability and Virtualization and possess detailed working knowledge as you will be deployed in a mission-critical, multi-site enterprise environment
- At least 3 years of front-line customer service / Field Engineering Support preferred.
- Willing to be on 24 x 7 stand-by for service contracts and maintenance services
- Excellent diagnostics skills and good ability to resolve problems quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
