As a Senior Cloud Security Consultant, you will be responsible for strategically helping our customers securely adopt Google Cloud. As an established and trusted advisor, you will engage at operational, tactical, and strategic levels to address complex security challenges that businesses face while building and improving their security posture on Google Cloud. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your strong communication skills and experience in security governance, risk management, operations, architecture, and/or cyber incident response programs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the structuring, planning, and execution of critical security-related engagements with Google Cloud customers.
- Provide domain expertise in Google Cloud computing security and act as a trusted advisor to customers.
- Guide the development or maturation of cloud security programs and the implementation of tools and approaches for improving cloud security.
- Travel up to 30% of the time within the region for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities as required.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in leading projects and delivering technical solutions related to security.
- Experience in architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in consulting or owning security during high-speed migrations for large-scale businesses with regulatory requirements.
- Experience in security governance, risk management, operations, architecture, and/or cyber incident response programs for cloud environments.
- Experience working with cloud architecture across a broad set of enterprise use cases and creating end-to-end solution architectures.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, articulation, and influencing skills.
- Experience with industry compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27017/27018, GDPR, SOC).
