Job Summary

The HP Industrial Print Customer Success organization (IPCS) is the End to End organization focusing on helping our customers grow their business

We are looking for candidates with an ambition extend their technical career path with us as part of the APJ Learning Academy.

The HP APJ Learning Academy or “Training Center” delivers technical training, one of the key roles in enabling our customers to start production and maximize their HP Indigo digital presses.

We are continuously adapting to deliver our services under any circumstance, also remotely, using innovative tools as to do so, such as xRServices (Extended Reality).

The Learning Academy is closely connected to other departments in HP IPCS which is part of the Industrial Print Organization.

The HP Indigo Trainer & Ramp-Up Engineer is responsible for providing comprehensive training and support to ensure the optimal performance and rapid ramp-up of HP Indigo digital presses.

This role involves conducting hands-on training sessions, implementing best practices, and supporting the technical ramp-up process to maximize uptime and productivity. This role also involves frequent travel across Asia Pacific & Japan countries.


Responsibilities:

Training Delivery: Conduct detailed training sessions for operators, engineers, and other stakeholders on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HP Indigo digital presses.

Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support during the installation and ramp-up phase to ensure smooth transitions and minimize downtime.

Process Optimization: Implement and share best practices for press operation and maintenance to enhance performance and efficiency.

Documentation: Develop and update training materials, manuals, and guides to reflect the latest technology and operational practices.

Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers to understand their needs, address their concerns, and ensure they are fully satisfied with the HP Indigo solutions.

Collaboration: Collaborate with the R&D and product management teams to provide feedback and insights from the field to support continuous product improvement.

Adoption of New Technologies: Utilize xR (Mixed Reality) for training of operators and engineers.


Travel: Willingness to travel – Between 1-4 weeks for

Trainings & Ramp-Ups across Asia Pacific & Japan


Education & Experience Recommended

Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in Digital Printing technology, preferably with HP Indigo presses. Experience in technical support roles is required.

Engineer Certifications on current HP Indigo Digital Presses highly desirable.


Required Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Sensitive to customer’s needs and developing warm client relationships.
  • Passionate about continuous learning, sharing knowledge & teaching.
  • Proficient level of English and native / proficient in at least 1 of following languages: Chinese, Thai, Bahasa Indonesia, Korean, Japanese
  • Press Operator and Engineer level Certifications in HP Indigo Presses
