Position Overview
The Performance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the performance management system, with a particular focus on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and a passion for driving organizational performance and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
OKR Implementation and Management:
Lead the design, implementation, and management of the OKR framework across the organization.
Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment of OKRs with the company’s strategic objectives.
Train and coach managers and employees on the OKR methodology, ensuring understanding and effective usage.
Performance Management:
Develop and manage a comprehensive performance management system that aligns with the company’s goals and values.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of performance management processes, providing recommendations for improvement.
Conduct performance reviews, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and report on performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
Develop dashboards and performance reports for senior leadership to inform decision-making.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all performance management systems.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other departments line managers & HODs to ensure alignment of performance management initiatives with Company's overall strategies.
Facilitate regular communication and feedback loops between managers and employees.
Promote transparency and accountability through clear communication of performance expectations and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Performance Manager or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of OKR methodology.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in performance management software and tools.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in OKR or performance management is a plus
- Experience in change management and organizational development.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in performance management.
