Position Summary:
To provide IT support to clients and help them resolve any software plus hardware problems, as part of Edgeworks Solution's customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand and configure software and equipment to meet customers' requirements
- Maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected
- Support customers in the use of equipment by providing any necessary training and advice
- Arrange for external technical where problems cannot be resolved off-site
- Manage and monitor a log of customers' change requests
- Assist Support Lead/Senior Operations Manager on any other tasks as instructed
Requirements:
- Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Candidate must possess a high proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio
- Candidate must be able to support on weekends and PHs, on rotational basis
- Proven Customer Support experience, with strong interpersonal skills and active listening
- Preferably Junior Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
