Description:
- Must be able to quote on offshore fabrication works, ship repair and conversion works.
- Ability to quote on new ship-building works is an added advantage.
- Billing & settlement of invoices with client representatives for executed jobs.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
- Manage and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts, ensuring they meet both client requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and legal, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote the company's services and capabilities.
- Report to Commercial Manager for all related works.
Requirement:
- Diploma/Degree and above (Marine qualification like a diploma in Shipping and Logistics/ Marine Engineering will be advantageous)
- Experience with at least 2 – 3 years with owner / operator broker in a commercial position within the tugs, barges, AHT domain
- Enthusiastic and having a “Go Getter “attitude for serving existing clients and bringing in newer clients
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
- Can speak and understand English
- Candidates with knowledge of spoken Malay and Mandarin shall be given preference
