Job Purpose

Logistics Manager will be responsible for all movement and distribution of pharmaceutical products at Singapore site. This role reports to the SCM Head based in Singapore.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
  • Responsible for coordinating the transportation of pharmaceutical products, ensuring that shipments are delivered on time, and ensuring that products are transported in appropriate conditions.
  • Responsible for analysing logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings, while ensuring that data is handled in compliance with GDP.
  • Ensuring trade and quality compliance: Responsible for ensuring that all logistics operations are compliant with relevant regulations and laws, such as Customs, GDP, as well as ensuring that products are handled in compliance with applicable regulations such as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Documentation and Recordkeeping: Oversee the creation and maintenance of accurate documentation for all supply chain activities. Ensure proper recordkeeping to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements by consulting the setup of new processes or the improvement of existing processes.
  • Identify and assess potential compliance and safety risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ownership of any transport verification activities on site.
  • Process owner for transport management system, and actively support during implementation.
  • Subject matter expert for all cold chain activities on site. Support future site projects with this knowledge as and when requested.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain contingency plans for supply chain disruptions, ensuring business continuity and compliance during unforeseen events.
  • Collaborating with other departments: Responsible for collaborating with other departments, such as production, quality control and quality assurance, to ensure that logistics operations are aligned with overall business objectives, while ensuring that products are handled in compliance with applicable regulations.

Requirements:


Requirements

  • Solid understanding of Logistics and warehousing operations; ideally with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the GMP environment is required.
  • Extensive cold chain logistics experience is mandatory.
  • Should have good understanding of Good Distribution Practices (GDP) mandated by HSA.
  • Experience working in QMS / ERP / Transport Monitoring systems is required.
  • Should be comfortable operating in an dynamic environment and competing priorities.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Science or Supply Chain disciplines is preferred.
  • Pronounced team & communication skills; Ability to be agile and effectively collaborate in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
  • Sense of ownership and honesty (proactive handling of errors)
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and rapid growth and adapt to change.
  • Strong problem-solving skill and being able to work at start-up environment.
  • Good written and communication skills. Able to articulate and present well.
