Job Description
· Research and identify potential vendors
· Manage relationships with existing vendors
· Compare and evaluate offers from different suppliers
· Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
· Solid analytical skills with the ability to conduct cost analyses
· Track orders and ensure timely delivery
· Review quality of purchased products and co-ordinate between suppliers and internal personnel on corrective actions on defective or unacceptable goods.
· Maintain updated records of purchase products, delivery information and invoices.
Requirements
· Good knowledge of market research to identify the most profitable orders
· Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, comparison and evaluation practices and liaising with vendors)
· Basic understanding of supply chain procedures
· Candidate must possess at least a ITE/Polytechnic diploma
· Fresh graduates are welcome
· Applicants must be willing to work in Tuas (Office Transport provided from Tuas West MRT in the morning)
· Full-Time position(s)
· Able to work 5.5 days per week
· Experience in purchasing roles
· Confident with good negotiation skills
