Responsibilities:
- To conduct research how to use advanced multi-agent AI and machine learning tools to decarbonize urban last mile delivery such that it operates in a smart and sustainable manner;
- To develop novel sharing AI and economy mechanisms such as informational regulation policies for enabling sustainable urban transportation; and
- To develop suitable experiments and realistic case studies to test and support the proposed solutions in large scale or complex networks.
Requirements:
- PhD in Control Science & Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Applied Mathematics;
- Strong publication records in top conferences or journals in AI, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Networking, Experiments, and system optimization;
- Experience in research control algorithm design and system optimization using performance control, machine learning, stochastic modelling, optimization, or algorithmic game theory;
- Experience in applying mathematical modelling and control algorithms to large-scale networks;
- Proficient in oral and written English; and
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
