ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative:
· Assist in coordination and booking of surgery for patients scheduled for pain procedures/intervention.
· Assist in application of pre-authorizations and handling of insurance enquiries (pre/post procedure)
· Assist in drafting of medical reports
· Assist in coordinating bookings
· Assist in Medi-claim e-filing and billing
Clinical/Therapy:
· Conduct and perform nurse-led therapies / therapeutic treatments for patients (Eg. Shockwave therapy, ESWT, TENS machine)
· Conduct patient screening/pain interview for first visit patients
· Clinic frontline representative (nursing) to provide patient education and counselling (Pre/Post- consultation, Post-op, Tele consult, Clinic discharge)
· Work in tandem with clinic executives to ensure efficient clinic workflow
· Coordination of multi-disciplinary referrals (Eg. Specialist clinics, Physiotherapy, Podiatry)
· Conduct post-op/post consultation follow-up with patients
· Perform pre-op tests/health screening (Blood taking, ECGs)
· Assist in the operation and maintenance
· Assist Surgeon/Procedurist performing procedures (Scrub, Circulator)
· Monitoring and recovery of patient post-procedure
· May be required to go to inpatient wards to dispense medications or perform nursing care/patient education as and when needed
· Be cross-deployed to other clinics to cover duties of clinic staff during their leave of absence
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
· Strong command in English
· Strong background of involvement in administrative duties
