- Conduct pre-delivery inspections of new equipment and perform rectification work as needed.
- Provide outdoor servicing of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and rebuild/overhaul heavy equipment engines and hydraulic pump systems (e.g., excavators, wheel loaders, articulated dump trucks, soil compactors, motor graders, bulldozers, skid steers, backhoe loaders).
- Prepare and repair equipment for rental or sale.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and upkeep of workshop premises, tools, and equipment.
- Perform any other ad hoc tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
- NITEC or Diploma in an engineering-related field.
- Proficiency in technical writing in Standard English.
- Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams and repair/service manuals to independently perform troubleshooting and repair tasks.
- Preferably, experience in a service/repair department for heavy equipment manufacturers or dealerships.
- Mechanical skills and some electrical skills for heavy equipment are preferred.
- A Class 3 license is advantageous.
