Job scope
- Responsible for VIVA’s finance, accounting and office operations
- Responsible for Volunteers and Donors’ management
- Tracking of budgets with variance analysis on a periodic basis
- Responsible for Annual Report and filing of financial statements and annual returns
- Liaise with Auditors and perform accounts review management
- Maintain, monitor, manage and invest cash in the banks .
- Management of petty cash
- Fundraising/Sponsorship /Grant and Subsidy application and administration or management
- Responsible for statutory and regulatory reporting, compliance, filings and applications for permits, licenses and approvals
- Regulate and attend to technical accounting issues for compliance and good governance
- Review contracts for supply of tech and IT website and services
- Apply for renewal of and maintain the IPC and charity status of VIVA
- Responsible for HR, including recruitment, payroll , leave administration and management , staff welfare (including insurance ) and training programmes, periodic appraisals
Your profile includes:
- ACCA, Degree in Accounting, finance or equivalent
- 5-8 years relevant experience with a well-established accounting firm would be an advantage
- Excellent MS Excel knowledge
- Good commercial acumen
- Analytical mindset
- Excellent English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills would also be essential to succeed in the role.
