Our client is a leading materials testing laboratories and solutions provider for a wide range of fields including construction, life sciences, environmental, energy, transportation etc. They’re now on a look out for a Senior Engineer to join their Soil, Rock and Aggregates and Pavement Department.
about the job
- Supports the development of new technologies within a laboratory
- Actively seeks ways to disseminate critical testing knowledge, acumen and protocols throughout the organization
- Promptly share testing data to customers
- Provides support on business development opportunities with customers
- Conducts presentations on conventional and/or routine testing to a wide range of stakeholders
- Assists in the professional development of novice technicians and engineers within the laboratory
- Provides data analysis support to coworkers and customers when required
- Performs advanced testing analysis and implementation of testing concepts and data
- Adept at drawing on internal knowledge as well as industry and/or academic resources in reaching testing conclusions
job requirement
- Degree in Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience (candidates with more experience can be considered for the senior position)
- Candidates with prior experience as a civil engineer in a lab environment will be highly regarded
- Must be familiar with ISO17025 standards
