This is a unique opportunity to be part of a US listed MNC within the healthcare and life sciences industry with impressive growth across established and emerging markets. Due to business expansion, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst, APAC.
The Role
Reporting to the APAC Financial Controller and working in a team, you will be responsible for financial reporting, planning and analysis in terms of operating expenses, inventory and Capex. The position will develop and implement financial planning and control, perform financial analysis to determine present and future financial performance, prepare management reports and liaising with internal and external parties for any financial related matters. Prepare the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closing activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance to accounting policies and timely submission of management and statutory reports. Responsible on the financial planning and forecast of APAC region on OPEX including annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring timely reporting. Perform Capex investment spend reporting and ensure there is business case to support investment. Perform inventory trend reporting from SAP data and provide inventory projection based on trend and inbound shipments. Other key responsibilities include preparing the annual standard cost revaluation on intercompany inventory. Perform costing on new product and responsible for ensuring the correct price is setup on SAP system. Perform validation on stock loss or adjustments from Operations team. Be involved in cycle counts or stock takes and ensure count reports from Operations are accurate and documented for submission.
Your Profile
To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a MNC environment. It is essential to have hands-on experience in financial analysis and planning. It is mandatory to have knowledge of SAP/Oracle and possess strong Excel skills. We are seeking a detail-oriented, resourceful, and proactive Senior Financial Analyst with excellent interpersonal skills.
