As a Sitecore Solution Architect, your primary responsibility will be to work in solutioning and delivery, focusing specifically on Sitecore solutions.
You will play a critical role in shaping, pricing and high-level designing innovative Sitecore solutions for our clients, leveraging Sitecore’s suite of composable products such as XM Cloud and Content Hub but also leveraging other Sitecore stack technologies, tools and applications as needed and collaborating with various teams as needed. As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, consulting, and technical experts, to ensure the successful design and delivery of transformative Digital Marketing solutions. Your deep understanding of the digital marketing sector, Sitecore technologies, and your ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, efficient, and sustainable solutions will be key to your success in this role.

What you’ll do
- Sitecore Solution Design: Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and consultants to understand business objectives, identify requirements, and design end-to-end solutions that align with client goals and leverage Sitecore products effectively.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and leadership throughout the solutioning process, guiding teams and stakeholders on best practices, architectural principles, and innovative approaches specific to digital marketing implementations.
- Pre-sales Support: Assist the sales team in scoping, estimating, and presenting Sitecore solutions to prospective clients, demonstrating the value proposition of Avanade's services and capabilities.
- Solution Documentation: Create detailed solution designs, including architectural diagrams, technical specifications, data models, and other relevant documentation, ensuring clarity and alignment with client expectations throughout the solutioning process.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and consultants, to ensure successful solution delivery and client satisfaction.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing ongoing technical guidance and support throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Offering and Partner collaboration: Collaborate and identify better ways of working with our Partner network. Lead new initiatives within the organization and offering drives towards firming up the pipeline.
- Innovation and Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest Sitecore technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in solution design and delivery.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges in contracting, advise in qualification decisions, solution design and implementation, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct workshops and meetings with clients to gather and analyze business requirements specific to digital marketing systems, translating them into comprehensive technical specifications and solution architectures.
Skills and experiences
- Proven expertise in digital marketing technologies, Sitecore is highly desirable
- Proven experience in digital marketing solution design, deal shaping and architecture, with a focus on scalable and reliable enterprise implementations.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing system functionalities, including CMS, DAM, SEO, personalisation, and Commerce.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing role, providing strategic guidance and advice on digital marketing implementations is desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum Frameworks.
- Relevant Sitecore certifications are highly desirable.
- Front and Backend architecture experience highly desirable.
