JOB SUMMARY
- You will support the Finance Manager in managing the Association’s full spectrum of finance functions. You must ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for timely monthly accounts closing.
- Involved in the below accounting functions:
- Accounts Payable Processing.
- Maintenance of records of accounting transactions.
- Ensure adherence to Association’s procurement procedures.
- Analysis of cost variances.
- Assists in the preparation of financial and operating reports including balance sheet schedules (prepayment and staff advances).
- Assist in cash and investment accounting and management.
- Assist in the preparation of budget reports to reflect costs and spending and provide financial information for internal and external management.
- Managed ad-hoc projects when required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy.
- At least 2 years’ working experience in Accounts Payable.
- Qualities:
- Knowledge in financial managements reporting, analysis, budgeting and cash flow management.
- Mathematically inclined, good at interpreting facts and figures, and possess good judgement.
- An innovative team player that is dynamic, self-motivated, pro-active, and results oriented with the determination to succeed.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Experience in Navision is preferred.
