We are seeking a talented and experienced Brand Strategy Lead with a strong background in brand strategy and management. He/She will have a deep understanding of our Chairman, Chavalit Frederick Tsao’s vision and TPC’s wide range of businesses and be passionate about the movement towards a more conscious, well-being, and happiness-based economy. He/she will be in charge of defining and maintaining a strong clear green brand message of TPC to our internal and external stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Strategy
Develop and execute brand strategy:
- Uphold and execute the TPC’s vision, mission and values to become a green brand.
- Develop and implement brand guidelines and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate brand strategy across the business units
Brand Positioning and Messaging:
- Define the brand's unique value proposition and key messaging pillars
- Develop brand architecture and portfolio strategy.
- Craft brand narratives
Brand Performance Tracking and Optimization:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure brand health and performance
- Monitor and analyze brand metrics to inform data-driven decisions
- Optimize brand strategy based on insights and results
Collaboration and Influencing:
- Partner with senior leaders and teams across the organization to align on brand strategy
- Influence stakeholders to adopt brand-centric approaches and initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with external partners and agencies to support brand goals
Innovation and Staying Ahead:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in brand strategy
- Identify opportunities for innovation and experimentation to drive brand growth and relevance
Internal and External Event Management
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as OCTAVE, IMC Ventures, FBN, education institutions, partners to ensure seamless and curated event experiences.
- Plan and execute exceptional and curated high-quality events from start to finish, including conceptualizing, client liaison, project planning, budget management, supplier coordination, management of internal resourced, venue selection (if applicable), catering, decor, lighting, sound, and entertainment. This includes integration of digital products where applicable.
- Manage and lead a diverse range of events ranging from dialogue sessions, conferences and festivals to influence overall content and programme including topics and prospective speakers. These diverse events showcase CT’s and TPC’s commitment to sustainability and consciousness/inner transformation. (E.g. Conferences related to Sustainable Development Goals, Large-scale festivals centred on well-being and Consciousness, Bespoke dialogue sessions with thought leaders in Economics, In-house employee engagement events related to culture-building and well-being)
- Be the primary interface/contact person for specific groups of event partners, vendors and sponsors during the run-up to events and onsite at events.
- Ensure alignment of presentation materials to provide updates on conference content development and developing hooks to entice interest of speakers and/or targeted companies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement creative ideas to enhance event experiences.
Content Creation and Oversight:
- Lead the development of comprehensive content marketing strategies aligned with business goals, target audience preferences, and industry trends. Collaborate with cross- functional teams to ensure alignment and integration with overall marketing initiatives.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content for digital channels, including but not limited to blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and infographics. Provide guidance and feedback to content creators to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with brand voice and messaging.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies
- Proven ability to think creatively and strategically to develop innovative event concepts and experiences.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and product
- Passionate about well-being, happiness, and the new economy movement, and a deep understanding of Chavalit Frederick Tsao's vision and TPC’s businesses
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and budget management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media management tools
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Effectively bilingual in English & Mandarin
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of editorial standards.
- Ability to write compelling content and deliver effective presentations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building relationships and connecting people.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
