Laboratory of Regulatory Genomics is a cutting-edge research facility that focuses on the field of spatial and single-cell genomics. We are seeking a talented Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team and work on Spatial and Single-cell Genomics projects. The successful candidate will have a PhD in molecular biology, genomics, or a related field, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and conducting experiments involving the integration of spatial transcriptomics and single-cell genomics related to drug discovery, development, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute experiments to investigate gene expression in single-cells and spatially resolved tissue samples
- Analyze data from transcriptomic and genomic assays including single-cell RNAseq, spatial transcriptomics, and other sequencing technologies
- Develop and optimize experimental protocols for large scale single-cell genomics and/or spatial transcriptomics
- Maintain detailed experimental records and contribute to scientific reports and publications
- Collaborate with other members of the team to develop and implement research strategies
Qualifications:
- A PhD in molecular biology, genomics, or a related field
- Proven experience in single-cell genomics and/or spatial transcriptomics is a plus
- Strong experience with molecular biology techniques, including sample preparation, RNA isolation, and sequencing library preparation
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as R, Python
- Experience with microscopy, image analysis, and statistical analysis would be advantageous
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
