We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Events Manager to oversee and manage the planning and execution of various projects undertaken by Elevandi.
(Full time temp role from 01 August 2024 – 30 November 2024)
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Create comprehensive project plans for events, including timelines, venues, vendors, staffing requirements, and budgets.
- Ensure all aspects of event logistics are coordinated effectively to deliver exceptional experiences.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
Evaluation and Improvement:
- Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations to assess outcomes and gather feedback.
- Implement improvement plans based on evaluation findings to enhance future event effectiveness.
Budget Adherence and Tracking:
- Manage event budgets, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and tracking expenses accurately.
Ad-Hoc Responsibilities:
- Engage in additional projects and duties as necessary to support the organization's growth initiatives.
Project Administration:
- Oversee project administration tasks and manage workflow to ensure efficient project execution.
Onsite Event Execution:
- Lead onsite execution and delivery of events, ensuring smooth operations and resolving any issues that arise promptly.
Other Duties:
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time by management.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience of 6-8 years in event management, with a track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale events.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent) is preferred.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) is a plus.
