Job Summary:
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance with Singapore regulations, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of payroll practices and procedures in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for multiple clients accurately and on time.
- Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, bonuses, and other pay components.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore's Employment Act, CPF regulations, IRAS requirements, and other relevant laws.
- Maintain and update client payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes to employee data.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to clients and internal stakeholders as needed.
- Assist with year-end payroll processes, including IR8A preparation and submission.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with the HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll integration.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and maintain positive relationships.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in an outsourcing or multi-client environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Singapore's payroll laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
