Reporting: Business Development Manager


We are looking for a proactive Business Development Executive to support our sales and marketing initiatives. This role will involve contributing to the development of strategies, managing consignment business, overseeing product sales, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of market trends and the ability to build strong client relationships.


Job Highlights:

  • 5 days work week, 9am to 6pm
  • Salary: $2800 - $3300 basic + transport allowance(if applicable) + commission
  • Working location: Jurong Logistics Hub
  • AWS + VB

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies, with a focus on hospitality and corporate sales.

2. Manage consignment business operations in local and export markets

3. Oversee product and mattress sales, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

4. Ensure goods are properly packed and delivered to customers on time

5. Identify and pursue business opportunities both locally and in neighboring countries

6. Manage project-based sales and ensure successful project execution

7. Set up and manage consignment sales events, including collection of sales data

8. Provide innovative product development ideas and conduct market trend analysis

9. Collaborate closely with the product development team to create innovative products that meet customer demand

10. Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure long-term business partnerships

11. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions

12. Prepare necessary documentation on business development activities, sales performance, and market conditions for senior management and client needs

13. Develop and implement offline marketing strategies

14. Ensure timely replenishment of goods at consignment counters


Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

2. Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or marketing roles, preferably in the consignment goods or mattress industry with more than 5 years of related experiences.

3. In-depth knowledge and understanding of consignment goods and mattresses, including market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitor landscape.

4. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market data and trends to drive business growth.

6. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

7. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.

8. Ability to liaise with Sales team on the atrium sales and related matters.

9. Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and other relevant business tools and technologies.

10. Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and market research.
