Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide process support for reaction processes, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to quality standards.
- Supports operations in process troubleshooting and process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Engage in process and productivity improvement initiatives to optimize operations.
- Monitor process trends and product quality to ensure product quality conformance.
- Create and update process records and process flow documentation to maintain accurate documentation of procedures.
- Coordinate, arrange, and plan new trial runs with the R&D and Quality team, and handle the trial run and the evaluation.
- Evaluate process performance and key process parameters from a long-term view and periodically to uncover potential risks that may lead to product performance instability, safety, or quality issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and propose corrective and preventive measures as process engineering function and/or based on request basis.
- Participate actively in HAZOP, FMEA, and Control plan studies as Process engineering functions for safety and quality improvement.
- Keep and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Material Science), or equivalent. Fresh graduates, with prior internship experience in or a background in chemistry are also welcome to apply.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the lab-based environment and familiarity with the laboratory procedures.
- Knowledge in Process Design and Engineering.
- Required Skill(s): Hands-on experience on DCS, and PLC systems will be preferred.
- Preferably entry-level specialized in Engineering in Chemical or equivalent.
- Candidate with a strong technical background in engineering, particularly in chemical processes related.Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidate's previous internship experience in the process engineer role or production roles;
- Ability to work independently, as well as in teamwork;
- Eager to learn and with minimum supervision;
- Experienced in pharmaceutical or medical-related manufacturing-related roles is an added advantage but not necessary.
- Strong technical, detail-orientated, with analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Good communication and excellent interpersonal skills;
- Knowledge of ISO 13485:2016 quality requirements is an advantage but not compulsory.
