Our client is a leading medical group in the healthcare industry. This role involves leading M&A, strategy, transaction execution at various stages, including deal origination, business development and meeting with potential targets to grow the organisation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Originate and deliver transaction ideas
- Identify opportunities and open relationships
- Drive target timetable and milestones
- Ensure quality on client deliverables
- Manage counterparties and other advisers
- Manage overall transaction risks
- Proactively put in place actional mitigations
- Lead and support all aspects of execution
- Work with Corporate Valuation and Financial Due Diligence partners
- Support deal structuring, bid strategy, negotiation, and deal closure
- Lead and support large cross-functional teams
- Support M&A and Strategy in building transaction pipelines
- Engage with bankers, private equity, and external parties
- Track and maintain robust corporate M&A pipeline
- Support cross enterprise view of M&A priorities
- Work closely with executive leadership on portfolio evaluation
- Align portfolio with company's strategic direction
- To manage the M&A approval processes with Group CEO and Board
- Develop knowledge of healthcare industry in Southeast Asia.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field from a reputable university
- Minimum 7-8 years' experience in M&A, with a key role in executing transactions
- Strong experience in M&A, corporate finance, capital markets, and fund raising in an investment bank or professional services firm.
- Proven track record in buy-side and sell-side transactions
- Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills
- Possess strong numerical, financial, and critical thinking skills in solving transaction issue
- Willingness to travel as needed
