Job Scope:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities on the site, ensuring that work is progressing as per the project schedule and plans
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination among different parties involved in the project.
- Monitor construction quality and ensure that work is being carried out according to approved plans, specifications, and industry standards.
- Enforce and promote safety measures and regulations on the construction site to ensure the well-being of workers and compliance
- Ensure projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment allocation, and workforce management to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
- Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on the project's progress, highlighting any deviations from the plan and proposing corrective actions.
- Monitor and control project costs by tracking expenses, material usage, and labor hours, and identify areas where cost-saving measures can be implemented.
- Completing regulatory documents concerning safety issues
- Undertake any other duties assigned by management from time to time
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor of Degree in civil engineering or related equivalent
- Experienced in project management or other relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
- Familiarity with relevant construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership abilities to manage and guide on-site teams effectively.
- Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Able to multi-task and work under tight schedules
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Able to face challenging tasks and meet high standards and deadlines
- Able to attend to emergency call due to project and works needs beyond office hours
