Our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of high-tech facilities in Singapore. They looking for a unique individual to join their growing business. Reporting to Director Proposal.
Job Description:
- Reviews tender documents / Requests for Proposals to understand project details and requirements;
- Reviews and interprets engineering documentation such as drawings/specifications/scope of works to fully understand the project requirements for detailed and accurate estimating;
- Provide detailed and accurate quantity and component take-offs against the technical drawings, specifications and scope of work documentation;
- Provide timely clarifications for ongoing submission within the tender duration;
- Provide current and competitive industry schedule of rates against the take-offs;
- Communicate and negotiate competitive rates with suppliers and sub-contractors;
- Provide costing data and input into the Proposal formats required by the tender documentation;
- Collating and checking tender bids against estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness;
- Works within the estimating team, reporting to the Bid Manager or Project Manager;
- Coordinates with other discipline estimators and Engineers
Requirements:
- Diploma with 5 years of cost estimating experience
- Proficient in supporting medium to large scale projects
