Your job roles will include but not be limited to the following:
- Guiding chefs in the management of their respective sections in daily operations
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Ensure the quality of all the dishes adheres to the company’s standard
- Supervise kitchen operations and ensure smooth flow of food
Coordinating and monitoring budget provisions to ensure proper expenditures - Ensuring that meals are prepared according to recipe, portion control, conforming to hygiene and religious guidelines.
- Ensuring compliance with MUIS regulations
- Identifying appropriate training plans for Chefs and cooks and ensuring that are trained, orientated and updated
- Estimate food requirements and food/labour costs
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements - At least 3 year of relevant experience in Malay cuisine
- Experience in managing staff
- Excellent time management and ability to multi-task
- Good leadership and organizational skills
- Comfortable to work rotating shifts and weekends/public holiday
