Our client is an US MNC, one of the largest players in the life-science sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting for Senior Lab Technician to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects.
This is a 1 Year contract (Convertible) role. They are located at Buona Vista – Walking distance from the MRT station.
5 days work week - Monday to Friday (8.30 am to 5.30pm)
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate high levels of customer focus and responsiveness through direct interaction with customers and their operational teams.
- Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop staff within a diverse team environment, including creating training plans for operational sustainability.
- Develop and maintain a quality management system to meet customer deliverables and team performance measures according to approved SOPs and organizational safety, quality, and security requirements.
- Lead and participate in initiatives to improve cost, quality, and efficiency.
- Take the lead in performing Flavors & Fragrances Laboratory Operations.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Applied Chemistry, Perfumery and Cosmetic Sciences, or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role in a chemistry laboratory environment preferred.
- Knowledge of “good laboratory practices” and cGMP quality guidelines and regulations.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Mechanical experience with laboratory robots and good computational skills are desirable.
