Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation solutions for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code IaC scripts and templates.
- Monitor and improve system reliability, availability, and performance using SRE principles.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize cloud resource usage and cost through automation.
- Contribute to the development of data and application deployment strategies.
- Stay current with GCP offerings and industry best practices, with a focus on FSI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, focusing on DevSecOps and SRE.
- Strong knowledge of GCP services and architecture.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages like Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
